Meditative Sensual Massage for Women

On "La petite mort"

Recently a fellow tantrika shared a quote with me and, though a little long, is worthwhile pondering.

In particular, because the description of one type of orgasm is close to what we would like to achieve in an ideal meditative, sensual and yoni massage session.

It requires active participation, practice, training and even predisposition for the person receiving the massage though, so no worries or judgement if any particular session doesn’t get there. We still enjoy the journey taken and any detours along the way.

"Orgasm is a state where your body is no longer felt as matter; it vibrates like energy, electricity. It vibrates so deeply, from the very foundation, that you completely forget that it is a material thing. It becomes an electric phenomenon. Now physicists say that there is no matter, that all matter is only appearance; deep down, that which exists is electricity, not matter.

In orgasm, you come to this deepest layer of your body where matter no longer exists, just energy waves; you become a dancing energy, vibrating. There are no longer any boundaries to you - pulsating, but no longer substantial. And your beloved also pulsates.

Now, sexual orgasm needs time - the longer, the better; because then it will go deeper into your being, into your mind, into your soul. Then it will spread from the toe to the head . . . every fiber of your being will be throbbing with it. Your whole body will become an orchestra and it will come to a crescendo.

But if you are in a hurry the orgasm becomes just an ejaculation, it is no more an orgasm. It is local and very tiny, almost meaningless. In fact you will feel tired, frustrated...

There are only two mysteries: life and death. And the greatest is certainly death -- because life is spread out and death is very intense. Life happens in seventy, eighty, a hundred years. Naturally it is spread out. Death happens in a single moment, it is very intense. Death is the culmination, the crescendo.

Death is the greatest orgasm there is -- hence, by the way, people are afraid of orgasm. It is because they are afraid of death. Many people don't have orgasms. Or even if they do, it is a local orgasm, not very orgasmic -- because of fear. The orgasmic moment is a death moment. And in death happens the ultimate orgasm. In that moment." ~ Oshō

Do note that this is a tantric approach to orgasm and pleasure - there’s more than one approach - for example, the BDSM community has another! Sometimes the end result (feelings, sensations and even the sense of spirituality and connectedness) can be the same, but the means towards reaching it is different.

There’s no ‘one way’ that’s perfect for everyone, but why not explore and experience as many ways as possible; and thus live a life full of rich experiences!

Cheers,
Mike
